We are over at the Bangalore Alpha Lab, tucked away in J. P. Nagar 2nd Phase. It is the 1316/C unit on the first floor. If you know the 80 Feet Road area, we are just off 9th Cross. People come to us when they need help figuring out where to get fabrics or how to get their clothing lines started. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at samples of cotton and synthetic blends. It is not a fancy office, just a practical space where we get the work done. The team has been around this part of Bangalore for a while now. We know the local markets and which factories can actually deliver on time. Sometimes the traffic on 80 Feet Road is a nightmare and makes everyone late for morning meetings, but we manage to stay on schedule. Most days are just about checking quality and making sure the sourcing goes right for the next season. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the apparel world. If someone needs to find a specific button or a certain weight of denim, we usually know who to call. We often grab a quick coffee at the corner shop when things get stressful. It is basic stuff, really. We just keep our heads down and handle the logistics for our clients. There is always a lot of paperwork with sourcing, so the desks are usually covered in files and fabric swatches. It is what we do every day here in J.P. Nagar.
