Annapoorna Gift Centre

Our little shop is inside the Thirumala Complex, right by the last bus stop in Boopsandra. It’s a handy location because people often stop in while they are waiting for their ride or just after they get off the bus. Being in RMV 2nd Stage, we get a lot of regulars who live nearby. We have all kinds of gifts, from small statues to wall clocks and kids' games. It’s not a massive store, so we have to stack things pretty high to make everything fit. You might find a nice photo frame next to a stack of greeting cards. We don’t really do much advertising; people just know we’re here at the complex. Some days the traffic outside near the bus stop is quite a lot, but inside it stays fairly quiet unless it’s a holiday. We spend our time arranging the displays and talking to the neighbors. It’s a simple life running a gift centre. We aren't looking to become a giant chain or anything like that. We just like being the place where someone can grab a last-minute present for a wedding or a housewarming party. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road, so we are always cleaning something. If you ever find yourself at the Boopsandra stop with ten minutes to spare, you’ll probably see us sitting by the counter waiting for the next customer to walk in.
