Our place is located in Gandhi Nagar, right on Tank Bund Road over in Subashnagar 9. If you have ever been down this way, you know how much activity there is on the streets around here. We have been in this spot for a good while, and it has become very familiar to us. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a plain structure among many others on the road. We spend most of our time inside just dealing with whatever comes up that day. There is a lot of noise from the bikes and cars passing by outside on Tank Bund Road, but after a few hours, you just stop noticing it entirely. Usually, the mornings are the quietest time before the shops nearby start opening up their doors. We have a small desk and a few chairs for when people come in to talk. It gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic, so we are always wiping things down. Most of the folks who stop by are locals who live nearby or work in the other shops along the street. It’s a simple life here, just doing the work and heading home when the sun goes down. We don’t really bother with much decoration or anything like that. We just focus on getting through the list of things we have to do. It’s a practical space for practical work and we like being right in the middle of it all.
