I run my daily business out of the ground floor at the SRS Complex, which is number 21 over in Marathahalli. It is a very busy part of the city to be in, especially since we are so close to the Ganapathi Temple. You can almost always hear the temple bells ringing and the constant sound of traffic coming from the main road nearby. I have been in this specific spot for a good while now. It is a simple and functional space, nothing too fancy at all, just some chairs for visitors and my own desk where I do most of my thinking. People usually find their way to me by word of mouth or simply because they were passing by the temple and happened to notice the sign. Since I am located right on the ground floor, it is very easy for anyone to just walk in and start a conversation. I handle most of the tasks myself, though I do have someone who helps me out with the regular daily chores and paperwork. The office stays fairly cool even when the sun is beating down outside because of the way the building was constructed. I still keep a lot of my important records in those old-fashioned paper ledgers, though I do use the computer for some things now. Marathahalli is always changing with new shops opening up every month, but I have stayed put right here. It is a good community and I know the other shop owners.
