Up on the first floor of the Sri Venkateswara Building on Race Course Road, that’s where you’ll find us. It’s a busy intersection near Fergussion College Road. We spend our time talking about trips and looking at maps of Andhra Pradesh. The office has plenty of brochures stacked up, though they get messy pretty fast when people start flipping through them. It’s a lot of logistical work, figuring out bus schedules or where people can stay. Some days the phones don't stop ringing with questions about the hills or the temples. We don’t mind it much. It’s nice to hear people get excited about their holidays. The building is older, but it has character. We’ve got a small team here. We mostly just focus on getting the details right for whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit to confirm things, which can be annoying. But usually, we get it sorted. People come in looking for a break from their daily lives, and we try to help them find a spot that fits. It’s not a fancy setup, just some desks and a lot of paper. But it works for what we need to do every day. We know the routes well and can tell you which roads are currently under repair or where the best roadside food is. It's just what we do here in our corner of the building.
