Ananda Rao S

Down here in Jayanagar 7th Block, things stay pretty consistent day to day. We are located on the 9th Cross West, up on the first floor of building number 527. It is a quiet enough spot if you ignore the scooters zipping by outside at all hours. Ananda Rao S has been the name on the door for a long time now. The office has that old wood smell and a lot of paper stacked in the corners that we should probably sort through one day when we have the time. Being on the first floor is nice because we can see who is coming up the steps before they even knock on the door. Most of our day is spent sitting at the big desk or talking to folks who drop by to see us. Jayanagar has changed a lot lately, but this little corner feels mostly the same as it always did. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants that we sometimes forget to water during the busy weeks. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us keeping the place running and making sure the files are where they belong. The afternoon sun hits the windows directly, so it gets a bit warm around three o'clock. We usually just prop the door open for a breeze. It’s a local place where we know the neighbors and the guy who delivers the newspaper every morning.
