Anand Vihar Hotel

Our hotel is located at No.39, right across from Vanivilas Hospital in the Kalasipalyam area. Being near the BMC and SKR Road means there is never a quiet moment around here. We see a lot of people who are visiting family at the hospital, and they usually look pretty tired. We try to keep the place as a calm spot for them to sit for a few minutes. The building itself is older, and you can see the wear and tear if you look closely at the floors or the walls. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know each other’s habits pretty well by now. The mornings are the loudest because of the buses nearby, but we’ve learned to ignore the noise. We don't really do much in the way of decorations or fancy signs. Most people find us just by walking past on their way to the hospital. We spend a lot of time just cleaning and making sure the tables are ready for the next person. It’s a lot of repetitive work, to be honest. But it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes we run out of things by the end of the day, and we just close up and start again the next morning. It’s a very basic setup, but it works for the neighborhood we are in and the people we serve.
