Anand Fancy & Gift

So we are tucked away near Krishna Bakery on 4th B Cross. If you know the K S Garden area in Srirampuram then you know it gets pretty busy around here. Anand Fancy & Gift is just a small place. We have been here for a while now. Most days I am just sitting behind the counter watching people go in and out of the bakery next door. It smells like fresh bread a lot of the time which is nice I guess. We have shelves full of all sorts of things like ribbons and small plastic toys and cards for birthdays. It is a bit crowded inside because the shop isn't that big but we manage to fit everything in. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come in and just look at the shiny things. I don't mind. The floor is a bit old and the fan makes a clicking sound when it is on high. It gets dusty pretty fast with the road right there. We spend a lot of time just wiping things down. Srirampuram has a lot of narrow streets and ours is one of them. You have to be careful walking because of the scooters. We just keep the doors open and wait for whoever needs a quick gift or some thread. It is just a regular life running a shop like this. Nothing too exciting happens mostly. We just open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down and the bakery smells fade away.
