Amplesoft

If you find yourself in the Hongasandra area of Bangalore, you might come across Amplesoft. We are located in the N K Joshi Shri Krishna Reddy Apartment. It’s a bit different having an office in an apartment building, but it works for us. The hallways are usually quiet until the kids come home from school. We have a few rooms set up with computers and servers. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. The view from the balcony is just other buildings and the tops of some coconut trees. We spend a lot of time on calls or writing code while the sounds of the neighborhood filter in through the windows. There’s a small grocery store nearby where we pick up biscuits and milk for our tea breaks. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to take the stairs, which is good exercise I suppose. We don’t really do big meetings or corporate events. It’s more about getting the software built and fixing bugs. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed; people wear whatever they’re comfortable in. Bangalore weather is usually nice, so we keep the windows open most of the time. It’s just a group of us trying to get things done without too much fuss or ceremony.
