Amida Agro Products

We operate out of Dodda Mavalli on Blundel Road. It’s a bit of an older part of the city with narrow streets. We deal with agro products, mostly things coming in from farms nearby. Our space is at 2 1, and it’s mostly used for storage and sorting through the goods. You’ll see a lot of sacks and crates stacked up when you come by. It smells like earth and grains in here most of the time. We work with a few different suppliers who bring in their produce early in the morning. We spend a lot of time checking the quality and making sure everything is dry and ready for sale. We don’t have a fancy office at Amida Agro Products. There’s just a small corner with a table and a few chairs where we handle the accounts and talk to customers. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the inventory to worry about that. It’s heavy work, moving bags around all day. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the jute sacks. We aren’t trying to be a huge corporation. We just want to move the products from the farmers to the people who need them. Sometimes the logistics get messy, especially with the narrow roads around Dodda Mavalli, but we’ve learned how to navigate the trucks over time. It’s a steady job and we’ve been doing it for years now. We just take it one day at a time and hope for good rain.
