You can find us on Residency Road, right in the heart of the city. We are specifically on the mezzanine floor, unit M-02, at number 139. Being in this part of Bangalore means there is always a lot of noise and activity outside. We focus on the business travel side of things here at American Express. It's a lot of flight bookings, hotel reservations, and sorting out itineraries for people traveling for work. The office is busy, especially during the middle of the week. We have phones ringing pretty constantly. It’s a functional space designed for getting through travel requests quickly. Since we're on the mezzanine, we're sort of tucked away but still close to the street level. We've got our desks lined up and plenty of computers. Sometimes we have to stay late to deal with time zone differences for international trips. The street outside is one of the busiest in Bangalore, so getting lunch nearby is easy, but parking is a nightmare. Most of us just take the bus or a cab. We don't have much in the way of wall art, just maps and calendars mostly. It’s a straightforward environment where the main goal is just to make sure travelers get where they need to go without too much trouble. We just do our bit from this office on Residency Road. It's a lot of staring at screens and talking on headsets, but that's how we keep the business travel moving for everyone.
