Ameer Fancy Store

We are located right opposite the Ganesha Temple in Bommanahalli. It is a landmark everyone knows, so people don't usually get lost looking for us. You can hear the temple bells ringing throughout the day, which is actually quite nice when you are working. The street outside is always full of traffic and people selling flowers for the puja. Our shop is where folks stop to grab small things they forgot, like thread or hair clips or maybe some bangles. It is a small room with glass cases that have seen better days. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns sitting at the front. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, so we have to move the stock away from that one corner. It is just one of those things you deal with in an old building. Most of our customers are from the houses just behind the main road. They come in and chat for a bit about the weather or the price of vegetables before buying what they need. We don't have any flashy advertisements on the walls. There are just some calendars and a small photo of the family. It is a simple life running a store like this. We know most people by name. The evenings are the busiest because that is when the temple gets crowded and everyone is out for a walk.
