Ambe Novelty Gift Center & Book Store

We have been running this shop in Krisnarajapuram for quite some time now. Being right near the petrol pump means we get a lot of people just dropping in while they wait for their tanks to fill up. The shelves are usually packed with books and little gift items that we pick out ourselves. It is a small space, so things can get a bit cluttered. We try to keep things organized, but when a new shipment of books arrives, there are boxes everywhere for a few days. Kids come in after school looking for pens or notebooks, and we also keep some toys. It is a local spot. People know us by name mostly. We don’t really do big advertising. Most of our customers are folks who live right here in the neighborhood. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk to the regulars who stop by for a chat. The traffic outside can be noisy because of the pump and the main road, but we are used to it. We stock what people ask for. If someone needs a specific book, we try to get it from our suppliers. It’s a simple business. We open early and stay open until the evening rush finally dies down. Nothing fancy, just a regular gift shop and bookstore where you can find something useful or a nice little present for a friend or family member. We like being part of this street.
