Alpine Leisure Holidays

We’ve been at this spot in Nagarbhavi for quite a while now, right across from the BDA Complex on the Ring Road. It is a busy stretch, and people usually find us when they are heading to the complex for paperwork or just stuck in the afternoon traffic. Alpine Leisure Holidays is just a small team of us working here in a room that gets a bit too much sun in the afternoons. We spend most of our mornings on the phones or staring at flight schedules on the old computers. Sometimes the internet connection acts up right when we are trying to finalize something, which is frustrating, but we manage to get it done. People wander in asking about trips to the hills or maybe a beach package when they are feeling burnt out from their jobs. We don't have a big, fancy setup, just some desks, some maps that are starting to fade, and a few chairs for visitors to sit on while we talk. The road noise is constant because of the Ring Road, and there’s always a bit of dust coming in through the door. Most of the time, we’re just chatting with people from the neighborhood who want to see a new place. It involves a lot of checking dates and filling out forms. We usually grab tea from the stall just down the road while waiting for bookings to go through. It isn’t always the most exciting work, but we like helping people figure out their travel stuff.
