Alaina Associates

We are based out of a room on the second floor on Siddaiah Road. It is a bit of a long address to explain to people, being situated near Vill Baharnhara and the whole Hambaran Road area. Our office is tucked away in a spot that is very easy to miss if you are not looking specifically for it. We do a whole mix of different things here, mostly helping local people with their complicated paperwork and various services they might need. It is a fairly quiet office for the most part of the week, except for Monday mornings when we usually have a lot of visitors coming in all at once. There is always a big stack of folders and files sitting on someone’s desk waiting to be sorted. We try our best to keep everything organized, but when you are dealing with so many different types of papers, it tends to get messy pretty fast. The building we are in is quite old, and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. We have been in this part of the Partap Singh Wala area for a few years now. Most of us live quite close by, so we usually just walk or ride our bikes to work in the mornings. It is a very local operation. We don't have any big corporate logos or a fancy reception area. We just sit at our desks and do the work that needs to be done. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just have to wait it out.
