Al Akbar Travels

Our office is located right at Suresh K Thomas’s place, the Kizhakekuttu House in Kaiiampuram. We are based out of Ottapalam in the Palakkad district of Kerala. It is a quiet area, and we run our travel business from here in a very simple way. We don’t have a massive office building with glass walls or a fleet of fancy cars parked outside. Instead, we work from this house, helping people with their travel plans and ticket bookings. Suresh and the rest of us stay busy with flight schedules and bus routes. Most people who come to us are locals from around Kaiiampuram or nearby villages who need to get somewhere and don't want to deal with the online confusion. We sit down with them, look at the options, and figure out the best way to get them there. Kerala is a beautiful place to live, but the travel business keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of time on the phone with airlines and transport providers. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow here in the post office area, but we manage to get things done. We have been doing this for several years now, and it’s just a normal part of our lives. We like the fact that we can help our neighbors and friends see more of the world without making it a complicated process. It is just honest work done by real people in a small town.
