Running a travel business out of Mathikere keeps us pretty busy most of the year. Our office is at number 253, and it's basically where we sit and figure out all the logistics for people going on trips. It’s not a very big space, but we have enough room for the desks and a few chairs for when people come in to talk about where they want to go. Akshaya Tours And Travels has been in this area for a bit, so we know the local roads and the shortcuts pretty well by now. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers or checking on hotel bookings for the families who use our services. Sometimes it gets a little chaotic when a flight gets delayed or a bus breaks down, but we just try to fix it as fast as we can. It’s a lot of juggling different schedules and making sure everyone has their paperwork ready. Mathikere is a decent place to be based, even if the parking around 253 can be a real pain during the peak hours. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency out there; we just want to make sure people get where they need to go without too much trouble. Most days it’s just us staring at computer screens or updating the calendars. We've helped a lot of neighbors with their vacation plans over the years, and we're used to the rhythm of the work now. We just keep on doing our best.
