Akshaya India

We are tucked away on Srinivas Temple Road in the Maruthinagar part of Madiwala. If you have ever been to this part of Bangalore, you know it is always moving. There are buses everywhere and people constantly walking by. Our office for Akshaya India is right in the middle of all that noise. It is a small place, nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done for us. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day stuff that comes with a travel business. The temple is close by, so we hear the bells and the activity from there quite often. It gives the street a specific kind of feel that you don't get in the newer parts of the city. Inside, we have our desks set up and it’s usually a bit of a mess with all the paperwork. We don't really have a reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and we talk to them. The staff here is mostly local, so we know which roads to avoid when the traffic gets bad in the evenings. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or use the backup generator. It’s just how things go around here. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we are used to the rhythm of Madiwala. We just show up, do the work, and go home like everyone else in the neighborhood. It’s a busy life but it keeps us on our toes.
