Akshatha Rao

Akshatha Rao is over at 19, 3rd Main in Banaswadi, Bangalore. This part of the city is quite different from the central hubs. It feels a bit more like a residential area where things move a little slower. The building is right there on the 3rd Main road. It is a standard Bangalore street with trees and some cars parked along the side. We have been using this space for our daily tasks for a while now. It isn't a huge setup, just a couple of rooms where we can sit and focus. Banaswadi has grown a lot and there are many more houses and small shops now than there used to be. Getting here is easy enough if you know the main landmarks. We don't have any flashy decorations or big banners outside. It’s just a regular door with a number on it. Some mornings it is very quiet and you can hear the birds, which is nice for a change. Then as the day goes on, the usual city sounds start up. We keep a simple schedule and try to get through the list of things to do. The inside is kept tidy but it’s definitely a working space, not a lounge. If you are looking for us, you just find the 3rd Main and look for number 19. It’s a plain building that blends in with everything else on the street. It works well for what we do every day without any extra fuss.
