Akbar Travels Of India Pvt Ltd has been running things out of Srindhi Regency for a while now. We are located at number 43 on the 9th Cross in Prashant Nagar. It is a pretty standard Bangalore street, usually some construction going on nearby or a few scooters parked on the sidewalk blocking the way. People come in here all day long asking about flights, train tickets, or how to get their paperwork sorted for trips. We have a few rows of chairs for people to wait in, and the walls are mostly covered with old calendars and some notices. The staff here knows the routine by heart. We spend most of the day staring at the booking screens and talking on the phone to various offices. It isn't a quiet place, especially when the monsoon rains hit the roof and everyone is trying to get inside at once. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just the desk and the computers where we work. Prashant Nagar is a decent area, and being at Srindhi Regency makes it easy for the locals to find us without having to go all the way into the main city center. We just focus on getting the tickets printed and the itineraries cleared. It is honest work and we have been doing it this way for years. Most of our regulars just drop in, say hello, and tell us where they need to go next.
