Ajay Govindraj

Ajay Govindraj is the name on the door here at 101 Lavelle Road. We are tucked inside Ramana Shree Chambers, which is one of those buildings that has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. Lady Curzon Road is right nearby, and you can always hear the city moving outside the windows. The office isn't very big, and it’s usually piled high with files and papers that we need to get through. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, trying to find a specific document under a coffee mug or a stapler. We spend most of our mornings just trying to catch up on what happened the day before. The light in here is a bit dim in the afternoons, but we have our desk lamps. It’s a busy part of town, so finding a place to park a bike or a car is always a struggle for anyone coming to see us. Sometimes we just stand by the window and watch the traffic crawl along Lavelle Road while we wait for the computer to start up. It’s a quiet place for the most part, despite the noise outside. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the address and a steady routine. Most of the time it’s just the sound of typing and the hum of the old air conditioner. It’s just how things are in this part of the city. We don't really do much to change it.
