Ajantha Cyber Point

Ajantha Cyber Point is located at number 22 on Mahathma Gandhi Road. It is a small shop filled with the hum of computer fans and the smell of warm paper from the printer. We have a row of desks with monitors that are a few years old now. Most people come in to check their email, print out some documents for school, or fill out online forms because they don't have a computer at home. The chairs are mismatched and sometimes the internet gets a bit slow when everyone is downloading something at once. We spend a lot of time helping people who aren't sure how to use the scanner or how to attach a file to an email message. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few notices about printing costs and some old calendars. We have a small counter where we sell some pens, envelopes, and notebooks too. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the shop faces the sun, but we keep the door open to let a breeze in from MG Road. You can hear the buses going by all day long. It is just a place for people to get their digital chores done. We are not tech experts, but we know enough to keep the machines running and help the neighbors with their basic needs. The keyboards have some letters worn off, but they still work fine for what we do every day.
