Aiwas Broast Chicken

If you are looking for us, we are over at 22nd Cross and 10th Main Road in Jayanagar. The place is officially listed under Subair P, care of Aiwas Restaurant. Bangalore has a lot of food spots, but our corner of Jayanagar is special to us. The kitchen is the heart of everything here. It is always warm because of the fryers, and there is a constant smell of spices and chicken in the air. We don't have a fancy dining room with expensive tablecloths. Instead, we have simple tables and chairs where people can sit and eat without feeling like they have to dress up. The floors are tiled and we scrub them every night. It is a lot of hard work, standing on your feet all day and making sure the chicken comes out just right. Sometimes the orders pile up and it gets a bit chaotic behind the counter, but we shout to each other and get it sorted. The 10th Main Road is usually busy with people walking by or parking their bikes. We see a lot of the same faces every week, which is nice. It is a very straightforward business. We cook, we serve, and we clean. There is no secret mission or big corporate talk here. We just want to make sure the food is ready when people are hungry and that they leave with a full stomach. It is honest work.
