Aisats(Air India Singapore Terminal Service)

We are currently working out of a temporary spot at 424, 10th Main Road in Viveknagar, Bangalore. Being part of Aisats, or Air India Singapore Terminal Service, means we are usually tied up with airport stuff, even when we are sitting at this office. Bangalore traffic is always a mess, so getting to Viveknagar can take some time depending on the hour. Our office is pretty basic since it's a temporary setup. We have desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of papers stacked up on every surface. We deal with the logistics of terminal services, which basically means making sure things move where they are supposed to at the airport. It's a lot of coordination and phone calls back and forth. Sometimes things don't go according to plan, like when a flight is delayed or there's a mix-up with the ground crew. We just try to fix it as fast as we can. It’s not a fancy job, and the office isn't much to look at, but it’s where the planning happens. People are always coming in and out, usually in a hurry. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long shifts. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. We don't really have time for anything flashy, just the day-to-day work of keeping the terminal operations running as they should. It's hard work.
