Airdeccan

Our spot is out in Mattikeri in Bangalore. It is a part of town that has its own rhythm and we have been based here for a bit now. We deal with all the things that come with travel and planes, which means the phones are almost always ringing at all hours. It is not like some big shiny airport terminal here; it is more of an office where we get the real work done. We have desks piled with schedules and notes about flight times and crew shifts. Most of us have been working in this industry long enough that we don't get surprised by much anymore. Sometimes a flight gets delayed or something else happens and we have to spend the whole afternoon talking to people on the phone and trying to sort it out. It can be stressful, but we just take it one step at a time. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a few maps on the walls and some old chairs that have seen better days. During the lunch hour, we usually head out to one of the local places nearby to get some food and a break from the computer screens. Mattikeri is a busy place so there is always something going on outside the windows. We aren't doing anything fancy, just making sure the logistics work and the travel plans actually happen like they are supposed to. It is just a regular job for us.
