Air Ticket Booking

Our small office is up on the second floor at No 73/2, right on Masti Venkatesh Iyenger Road. It is in the Gavipuram area near Hanumanthnagar in Bangalore. If you come to 2nd Cross, you will see the stairs leading up to us. It is just a simple room where we spend our days booking flight tickets for people. We have a couple of old desks and some computers that sometimes take a minute to start up. We don't have any big posters or fancy decorations. Usually, we are just busy staring at the screens looking for the cheapest flights we can find. People come in to ask about prices for trips back to their villages or for work. We just find the flights, take the payment, and print out the papers. It is a very basic business. The area around Gavipuram is nice and there are plenty of trees, so it stays a bit cooler. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for it to come back on to finish a booking. We don't use any complicated software or have a call center. It is just us answering the phone and talking to whoever walks through the door. We have been at this location for a good number of years and we know the neighborhood well. It is a quiet way to make a living, just helping people get where they need to go without making things too complicated.
