Air India

We are situated at 168, 6th B Cross in Bangalore. This is the Karnataka 560032 area. It’s an Air India office, so we deal with a lot of flight-related stuff every single day. The building is tucked away in a residential-looking cross street. It’s not the airport, just an office in the city where we handle the ground-level work. We have people coming in with questions about their travel or tickets. Bangalore is a big hub for us, and this office keeps us connected to the local travelers. The office is pretty standard, with desks and computers and a lot of paper stacked up. We see the city moving around us through the windows. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait for it to come back on while we chat. It’s a steady kind of job. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just try to help passengers get where they need to go. Working for a big name like Air India means we stay busy with calls and emails. But here at 6th B Cross, it feels more like a local office. We know the tea seller down the street quite well. The weather in Karnataka is usually decent for working, though it gets dusty. We have a small team here. Most of us have been doing this for years. We just take it one day at a time. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our job and we do it.
