Air Deccan, Bangalore is tucked away in Indira Nagar, specifically at 474 on the 2nd Cross. We are right in the middle of HAL 2nd Stage, which is a pretty popular area these days. The 11th Main is always buzzing with traffic and people, but our little corner on the 2nd Cross is a bit more manageable. The office itself is nothing out of the ordinary. It is a practical space where we handle all our daily tasks. We have been here for quite some time, long enough to see the neighborhood change around us. New cafes and shops pop up every month, but we stay pretty much the same. The interior of our office is simple. We have the usual equipment and a small corner where we keep the kettle for tea. Working in Indira Nagar means there is always somewhere to go for a quick walk when you need a break from the screen. We don't have fancy decorations or corporate art on the walls. It is mostly just calendars and notes pinned up everywhere. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and try to keep things organized. It is a busy atmosphere because of where we are, but we have our own routine that keeps us going. Most of us live nearby or take the metro, so the commute isn't too bad compared to other parts of Bangalore. We just get on with things.
