Air Deccan Airlines

Over at No 20 on the 5th Cross in Srinagar, you will find our office. We are located in the Kalidasalayout area of Bangalore, zip code 560050. This is the place for Air Deccan Airlines. It is a quiet residential-feeling street, which might seem strange for an airline, but that is where we are. The building is a regular house-style structure, and we have been working out of here for some time. It is not a big airport terminal with glass walls. It is just an office where we handle our business. Most of the people working here live in Srinagar or nearby areas like Banashankari. We walk to work or take the bus. There is a small gate and a few trees outside that give it a bit of shade. The inside is filled with desks and papers, and it always smells a bit like tea because someone is always making a pot. We aren't big on corporate rules or fancy titles. We just get the work done. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it is a nice place to spend the day. Sometimes the mailman gets confused by the address because there are so many crosses in Kalidasalayout, but he finds us eventually. We like the local feel of being at No 20. It doesn't feel like a big scary company; it just feels like a bunch of people working together in a quiet part of South Bangalore.
