Our office is based right in the Puthaenpuryil house in the Kizhakekara area of Muvattupuzha. It’s a quiet part of Eranakulam, and being in a residential house makes the workday feel a bit different than being in a big glass building in the city. We have a few desks set up in the front rooms and the shelves are mostly filled with old files and folders that have been sitting there for years. The rain in Kerala can be really heavy, so we often find ourselves watching the water pour off the roof while we handle the daily paperwork. Most people around here just call us the agency and they drop by when they need something sorted out. There’s a small porch out front where we usually sit for a few minutes when things get slow. Muvattupuzha is the kind of place where everyone knows which building you’re talking about if you mention the house name. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address and the work we do inside. Dealing with local clients means we spend a lot of time on the phone or just talking to people who walk in from the street. It’s mostly just keeping track of schedules and making sure the documents are in the right place. The internet can be a bit slow when it storms, so we’ve learned to keep paper backups of almost everything just in case.
