Afzal Tours & Tavels

Our office is at 2 Byrasandra, right on Swami Vivekanand Marg. It is a small space with a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at the computer screens. There are always maps and some old calendars on the walls. Being on the Marg means it gets quite noisy with the buses passing by all the time. The door stays open mostly to let a breeze in, even if the dust comes in with it. We have a little corner where we keep the records and all the booking forms. It is not the most modern place you will ever see, but it works for what we do at Afzal Tours & Tavels. We have some regular people from the neighborhood who drop in just to ask a quick question about travel times or prices. The floor is just simple tile and we have a ceiling fan that hums a bit when it is on the high setting. Most of the day is spent checking schedules and talking to people about where they need to go. We keep a big water bottle in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. It is a plain, honest kind of place and we just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss or trouble. People seem to appreciate that we are just right here on the corner.
