I practice law from my place at 5-C-104 Banaswadi. My office is filled with old law books and many files that have been there for years. Being an advocate means I spend a lot of time reading and writing down notes for my cases. It is a quiet residential part of Banaswadi, which helps me focus when I am preparing for court. People from the neighborhood come by when they have problems with property papers or other legal issues. I don't have a big team of juniors, it is just me doing the work myself. Sometimes I have to stay up late to finish a draft before the next morning. My desk is usually covered in papers and my glasses are always getting lost under some folder. I try to explain the law in a way that regular people can understand because it can be very confusing. It is not like the movies; it is mostly just careful reading and making sure all the signatures are in the right place. I have been in this same spot for quite a while now. Neighbors know they can just knock on the door if they need some advice or help with an affidavit. It is a steady way to spend my days here. The sun hits the window nicely in the afternoon while I am working. I think people appreciate a local person they can talk to. I keep my door open for whoever needs some legal help.
