My legal office is located at 284 Somanhalli on the 36th Cross in Jayanagar 7th Block. It’s quite near to National College, which makes it a fairly easy spot for clients to locate. Jayanagar is a bit more relaxed than the center of the city, with more trees and a slightly slower pace. The office isn't one of those high-rise corporate suites. It’s a more traditional space filled with law books, wooden furniture, and stacks of legal documents that seem to grow every week. I’ve spent a lot of my years here, sitting at the desk and going through cases. People come in with all sorts of issues, from property disputes to paperwork for various legal requirements. It’s a lot of reading and writing. Sometimes we spend more time waiting for court dates than actually being in front of a judge. I try to explain things in a way that makes sense, without using too much of that complicated legal talk if I can help it. The office has a quiet atmosphere, usually just the sound of a typewriter or a computer keyboard and the occasional bird outside. It’s a humble setup where I focus on the work at hand. Clients usually come by through word of mouth or because they live in the neighborhood. It’s just me and a bit of help to keep the files organized and the appointments on track.
