Advocate Arun Ponnappa Mr

I've been working out of this spot at 125 Infantry Road for a good while now. It’s right near Mission Road, so the traffic outside is almost always a bit much, but you get used to the sound of horns after a few years. The office isn't anything fancy. It’s mostly just shelves full of old law books and stacks of files that seem to grow on their own. I spend most of my mornings drinking tea and going through papers before heading out to the courts. Some days the lift works fine and other days it’s a bit moody, which is just how things go around here. People come in with all sorts of legal worries, and we just sit down at the wooden desk to talk things through. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always someone walking in or a delivery guy getting lost looking for the building. My desk is usually covered in notes and pens that I keep losing. The light in the afternoon hits the window just right, even if the dust shows up more then. We try to keep things organized but when you’re dealing with so much paperwork, it gets messy fast. Infantry Road has changed a lot since I started, with new shops popping up everywhere, but the office feels pretty much the same as it always did. It’s just a regular place where the work gets done, day in and day out, without much fuss.
