We operate out of a small place at H68 on 2nd Main in the Nagappa Block. Srirampuram is a crowded part of Bangalore, but it has a lot of character. Our sign just says Admin, which is pretty basic, but it’s what we do. We handle a lot of paperwork and local tasks for people in the neighborhood. It’s a humble office. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we spend more time working than worrying about the decor. Most of our day is spent at the desk, filing things away or helping someone who walked in with a question. The 2nd Main road gets pretty lively in the evenings. We see the same faces every day walking past the door. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s just a couple of us managing the daily grind. We deal with all the small stuff that keeps things running. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for the generator or for it to come back on. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. People just know where we are if they need something sorted out. We’ve been in Nagappa Block for a while now and we like being part of the street life here. There are always people shouting and horns honking outside, but we just keep our heads down and get through the stack of papers on the desk every single day.
