At Active Technology, we operate out of our shop on Kanakapura Road, specifically at number 4195. This is a long road with a lot going on, and we are tucked into one of the stretches that sees a lot of daily commuters. Our business is focused on technology, which basically means we deal with anything that has a circuit board and a power plug. The shop at 4195 is a bit older, but it serves its purpose well. We have shelves lined with parts and tools that we have collected over the years. It is not the kind of place that looks like a showroom. It looks like a workshop because that is exactly what it is. We spend a lot of time testing components and trying to figure out why a piece of gear has stopped working. Being on Kanakapura Road means we get people stopping by who are just driving past and saw our sign. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of promotional materials. We just rely on doing a decent job so that people come back when they have another problem. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard, but that is just part of being in this location. We are just local people working with technology every day. It is a steady life, and we are fine with that. It is a simple life really, just us and our tools and the machines we fix.
