Accenture India is located at B 212 in the Ranka Apartments complex, which is right in the Billekahalli area on Bannerghatta Road. If you’ve ever been on this road, you know the traffic is something else entirely. It’s basically a permanent fixture of our daily routine. The apartments themselves have a bit of history to them and aren't those new glass buildings you see popping up everywhere in Bangalore now. We like it because it feels more like a community than just a cold office space. Sometimes we run into people living in the other blocks who are just out for a walk or heading to the store. Our unit, B 212, is where we keep everything running. It’s not a huge space, but it fits what we need for the day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we’re being honest, but it doesn’t stop us from getting things done. We spend a lot of time just sitting at the desks and working through whatever is on the screen. There’s a certain rhythm to the place, from the sound of the security guard's whistle to the way the sun hits the balcony in the late afternoon. It’s a practical choice for us, being close to the main road but tucked away enough to avoid some of the direct noise. We just show up, do the work, and hope the bus isn't too crowded on the way back home.
