Accelrys Software Solutions Pvt Ltd is situated right in the middle of Whitefield, which is basically the tech heart of the city these days. We are up on the 12th floor of the Discoverer Building on C G Road. The view is actually quite nice from up here, especially when it rains, though the commute to get into Whitefield is usually a nightmare for most of the team. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and writing code, which is what you would expect from a software outfit. It isn't all high-tech glamour, though. We deal with bugs that don't want to go away and long meetings that probably could have been emails. The coffee machine in the breakroom is our best friend most mornings. Being in a big building like this means we see a lot of other people in the elevators, everyone rushing around with their badges. We have our own corner where we try to stay organized, though some desks are definitely messier than others. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just providing the software solutions that people ask us for. It’s a busy office with people coming and going. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when a deadline is looming, but we usually manage to get things out the door on time. We've been in this spot for a bit and it feels like home now, even with all the glowing screens and humming computers.
