Abi Diamonds

Our shop, Abi Diamonds, is on the first floor of building 33/3 in Jaraganhalli. If you are walking down the street in this part of Bangalore, you have to look up a bit to see our sign. We chose the first floor because it is a bit more private than being right on the sidewalk. It is a small space where we keep our stock and talk to customers who come in. Most of the time, it is just us looking at stones and helping people pick out what they need. We don't have a huge showroom with hundreds of lights. It is just a practical place where we can do our work and show the pieces we have ready. We have lived in Bangalore for a long time, so we know how people like to shop around here. They want something real and they want to talk to the person who is actually selling it. We spend a lot of our day just checking the quality of things and making sure the shop is tidy. It is a quiet business for the most part, except for when the local traffic gets loud outside. We like being in Jaraganhalli because it feels like a real neighborhood where people actually live and work. We don't put on any acts here. You just come up to the first floor, say hello, and we show you what we have in the cases. It is pretty straightforward.
