Abhishek Time Equipments

Our shop, Abhishek Time Equipments, is at 41523 Bheemanna Garden on the 4th Cross of Lakshmi Road. It’s tucked into a residential part of Shanthi Nagar, so it’s not as crazy as the main markets downtown. We deal with various timekeeping equipment and sometimes more technical stuff than your average watch shop. The building is an older one, and we are on a fairly quiet lane. I like the area because it’s got a lot of trees and it feels a bit more relaxed than the city center. Inside, we have a lot of tools and parts for different kinds of timers and mechanical clocks. It’s more of a technical workshop than a retail store. I spend a lot of time hunched over a desk with a magnifying glass in my eye. My back usually aches by the end of the day, but that’s just part of the job I've done for years. We don’t get a huge amount of foot traffic, so most of our customers are people who know exactly why they are coming here. They might have a specific piece of equipment that needs a rare part or a careful repair. The 4th Cross is a narrow road, so parking can be a bit of a challenge for people in cars. I’ve got some old posters on the wall and a small fan that rattles when it’s on the highest setting. It’s a functional space where we just get the work done. Shanthi Nagar is a nice place to be based.
