Abhishek Gas Agencies

We have been running this gas agency for a good while now. Our office is located at 30, Devmachohalli, right off the main road in Thavarekere. If you know the Magadi Road area, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and traffic passing through. Most of our day is spent handling bookings and making sure the delivery boys know where they are going. It is a bit of a scramble in the mornings when the new stock arrives. We have these big registers where we write everything down manually because it just feels more reliable that way. Sometimes the phone rings non-stop and other times it is quiet for an hour. The weather affects us quite a bit. When it rains, the delivery bikes and trucks get stuck or delayed, and then we have to explain that to people. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big showroom. It is just a workspace with a lot of cylinders stacked up in the back. The staff here is mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We know the shortcuts around the neighborhood which helps. It is a basic business, really. We just try to keep things moving so people can cook their meals without waiting too long. It gets dusty being so close to the road, but we are used to it by now. Just a regular part of the community here in Bangalore.
