We have a small office here where we spend way too many hours staring at screens. It’s the kind of place where the sound of typing is the main background noise, mixed with the occasional hum of the AC. Being in Bangalore, everything feels like it’s moving fast, but inside our four walls, we try to just focus on the code or the data we are handling. We’ve got some plants by the window that we sometimes forget to water, and the kitchen area always has a half-empty box of biscuits. We aren’t one of those massive tech giants with bean bags and free gyms. We are just a local team doing informatics work for businesses that need things fixed or organized. Most of us take the bus or ride a scooter to get here, and by the time we arrive, we’re already thinking about the first cup of coffee. It’s a lot of problem-solving and checking things twice. Sometimes we stay late because a server went down or a project is behind, but that’s just part of the deal. We’ve been at this address for a while and have gotten to know the tea stall guy downstairs pretty well.
