A R Krishna Murthy

A R Krishna Murthy is the name on the door, and we are located at 14 Cubbonpet Main Road. You have to turn into the 2nd Cross and look for the S R R Building. We are up on the 3rd floor. Cubbonpet is a very old and crowded area, so the streets are always full of carts and bikes. Finding a place to park is almost impossible, so most people just walk here from the main street. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it serves us well for our daily tasks. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled over time. It’s a bit of a maze getting up to the third floor if you aren't used to these old city buildings. We don't have fancy furniture or a reception desk. It’s just a place where work happens. We handle a lot of traditional business stuff, and it involves a lot of reading and writing. The sounds of the main road always drift up, so it never feels truly quiet. We know the other shopkeepers in the building and often chat on the stairs about the weather. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't put on any acts for anyone. If you come by, you’ll just find us busy with our books and our tea. It’s how it’s always been for us.
