We’ve been running this travel business for quite some time. It started out with just one vehicle and a lot of phone calls. Now we have a few more people helping out, but it’s still basically a small operation. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking schedules. Tirumala trips are common for us, so we know those routes pretty well. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We get a lot of walk-ins because we’re so close to the main road and Hometown. Sometimes it gets stressful when a driver is late or a bus breaks down, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's a lot of logistical work that people don't always see. We try to keep our cars in good shape because the roads around here can be pretty rough. My cousin helps me out with the bookings, and we usually have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. It’s just a regular local business trying to help people get where they need to go without too much trouble. We like being part of the Marthahalli neighborhood and seeing the area grow year after year.
