We’ve been here at 91 2 in Halasuru for a good amount of time now. If you walk down Lakshmipuram CMH Road, you’ll find our shop filled with all sorts of things like nuts, bolts, and various tools. It’s not a very fancy place, just a regular hardware store where we spend most of our day organizing shelves and helping people find that one specific size of screw they need for a repair at home. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with boxes everywhere, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, people come in with a broken part or a list from their plumber or carpenter, and we spend time looking through the bins to get them sorted. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy boxes of fasteners and making sure the stock is okay. The shop can get quite dusty because of all the metal and cardboard, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know the inventory well enough. Most of the folks who stop by are from around the neighborhood or workers heading to a job site nearby. We just try to keep the items people actually need in stock so they don't have to go wandering too far. It’s a simple routine of opening up, checking what’s low, and dealing with whatever comes through the door that day.
