A Chandra Chud

Being in Chamrajpet feels different than other parts of the city. We are right over here at number 63, not too far from Uma Theatre. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so it makes it easier to tell people where we are located. A Chandra Chud is just a small operation. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Some days are loud because of the traffic on the main road, but inside it’s mostly just us working. We don't have a big team or fancy office furniture. It’s just desks, some chairs, and a lot of paper and stuff lying around. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, that usually goes out the window. People stop by and ask for help with different things. We do what we can. Sometimes we are out for lunch or running an errand, so the door might be locked for a minute. That’s just the reality of a small business. We like the area because everything is close by. You can get good tea just a few doors down. It’s a bit old-fashioned around here, and we like it that way. No one is trying to be something they aren’t. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the sun goes down. It is a steady life and we are happy to be part of the Chamrajpet community.
