A C S Affiliated Computer Services

A C S Affiliated Computer Services is based out of the ITPL Building in Whitefield. It is a large complex, and we are just one part of the many offices there. This area of Bangalore has changed so much since the tech parks came up. We spend our days at our desks dealing with computer systems and data. The office has that typical smell of electronics and air conditioning that you find in these big buildings. It is a lot of staring at screens and typing. We get to work early to beat the Whitefield traffic, which is usually a mess. Inside, it’s mostly quiet except for the hum of the servers and the clicking of keyboards. We have a break room where we get coffee and talk about things other than work for a few minutes. The building security is strict, so we always have our badges on. It’s a very practical space with cubicles and rows of monitors. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place where the technical work gets done. There are many other companies around us, but we mostly stick to our own tasks. Lunchtime is when the lobby gets crowded. We usually just bring our own food or grab something quickly from the canteen downstairs. It is a steady routine that keeps the whole operation running without much fuss or drama. The elevators are always slow in the evening when everyone leaves.
