This hotel sits over in the High Ground area of Bangalore. K. Thanigaivel is the one who looks after things around here. It’s called 37th Crescent Hotel because, well, that’s the address. We have rooms for people who are passing through town or here for some work. It’s not a giant skyscraper hotel, just a regular place where you can get a bed and a shower. High Ground is a decent spot to be in Bangalore, not too far from everything but not right in the middle of the worst traffic either. We’ve had people stay here from all over. Some stay for a night, others stay for a week. We try to keep the place clean and the lights on. It’s a lot of work running a hotel, there's always something breaking or someone needing something at odd hours. We don't have a bunch of fancy corporate rules. We just try to be helpful when someone walks in the door. The building itself has been part of the neighborhood for a while. We know the regular guests by name usually. Bangalore-01 is a busy part of the city, so there’s always something happening outside. Inside, we just focus on making sure the rooms are ready. It's a simple operation, really. We aren't trying to be the most expensive place in town, just a reliable one.
