Working out of 8 Mahadevapura is an experience, mostly because of the traffic. This building has been our base for a long time. Inside, it is mostly the sound of clicking keyboards and people talking over their monitors. We deal with a lot of data and computer stuff. It isn’t the most exciting-looking office from the outside, just a plain structure at number 8. Most days are spent looking at screens and trying to figure out why a piece of code isn’t doing what it should. We have a small pantry where the kettle is always on. The tea isn't great, but it gets us through the afternoon slump. People here are mostly quiet, focused on their tasks. Sometimes we step out for a walk just to get away from the air conditioning for a bit. Mahadevapura has changed a lot since we first arrived. There are way more buildings now and the roads are always packed with commuters. You can hear the construction noise from down the street quite often. We don't really do much in the way of big meetings; mostly just quick chats by the desks. It is a practical setup. We have desks, chairs, and enough power outlets for everyone. That is about it. It works for what we need to do. Everyone just gets on with their work and goes home when the sun goes down and the streetlights come on.
