17 Degree North

17 Degree North is tucked away on the third floor of the Unnati Arcade. To find us, you have to go past the Axis Bank which is on the ground floor. We are right there on Dr Rajkumar Road in Rajajinagar. It’s a very busy street, and the Navrang Theatre is close by, so there are always people everywhere. Being on the third floor means we are a bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the horns honking down on 1st Main in the 1st Block. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so people just walk up the stairs. It is a bit of a climb, but it is just part of being here. We spend our day making sure the tables are wiped and the space is ready for whoever comes in. We have our spot at 5 and 5, and it’s a decent space for people to take a break. We don't use any fancy decorations or anything. It’s just a practical place to be. We see people coming in after their banking or after seeing a movie nearby. The afternoon sun hits the windows sometimes, and we have to adjust the curtains. It’s a regular routine of opening up and cleaning up after the rush. We don't have any big speeches about what we are. We are just a local business in Rajajinagar, doing our thing every day and watching the traffic from upstairs. It is just our daily life.
